These are the first pictures we've received of Sandbar shirts in our nation's capital. Maggie posed in her shirt by the Washington monument and also with the White House in the background.

If you're off on vacation somewhere during this holiday, we hope you took your Sandbar shirt. Take a picture in it and send it to us!
A bunch of our regular customers went to Cancun last month and didn't invite us to go along. They did, however, take Sandbar shirts with them so they could take pictures and taunt us with how much fun they had.
Here's what Sandbar friend Susan had to say:
This year a couple of us hit "milestone" birthdays: Melissa turned the big 30 and I turned the big 40. We decided we needed a getaway and got to spend 5 wonderful days in Cancun, Mexico, at the Cancun Palace all-inclusive resort.
Our agenda was…there was no agenda. We were free to relax by the pool, in the pool, near the pool, and at the pool bar. We mixed in a tour of the Mayan Ruins, a little local shopping, frolics in the ocean, golf for the boys and some good ol' fashioned fun!
We found a neat little bar on the beach side of our resort that had awesome swings for stools. After several Banana Monkey drinks- the closest thing to a Dirty Banana we could find- we realized this was the perfect backdrop for a picture with our beloved Sandbar shirts. We ran up to our rooms and got our shirts for some fun pictures.
We attempted the ocean shot and jumping on the beach, and it was far more entertaining than any Baywatch moment we had envisioned. It was a great place with wonderful service, and with more friends hitting milestone birthdays in 2011, we're planning to go back!

Our shirt was spotted in North Carolina! Sandbar fan Brian added this fun picture to our Facebook page recently. His caption said "got the boys on the island of carova nc dressed right." We agree!
We especially like this picture because it has not only Sandbar shirts, but also KU shirts! We're big KU fans. And, the shirt on the far left is the chapter shirt for the Central North Carolina chapter of the KU Alumni Association- which I thought was cool because if you didn't know, my day job is in the communications department at the KU Alumni Association.

We've got some great pictures of Sandbar tees in Vietnam!
Our friend Amerika (of Sandbar tees in Tennessee fame, among other things) recently traveled to Vietnam for her sister's wedding. She took a pile of Sandbar tees with her for photo opportunities. The Vietnamese woman in the picture was selling boiled quail eggs.
These pictures are from An Bang beach in Hoi An, Vietnam.

Our friend and long-time regular Sondra recently visited Chicago with her family. Her bright red Sandbar shirt was lucky enough to make the wardrobe cut!

These pictures were taken at the
Jimmy Buffett Concert in East Troy, WI at the Alpine Valley concert
venue on June 26, 2010. As you can see, we were dressed for the
occasion! All of us are KU grads and we all LOVE the Sandbar so our
T-shirt choice was a no-brainer.
This trip was a first for some and a sixth or seventh for a select few
die-hard Parrotheads. Personally, this was my fourth trip up north to
Alpine Valley with my friends and I must say that it was a huge
success. The weather was nice and hot, the Parrotheads were friendly,
and the music took everyone to a very happy place. AND the Boat Drinks
and Hurricanes were plentiful!
