Our Man on the Street and frequent blog contributor Pat sent us some pictures. He went to Winter Park for the holidays with his lady friend Andrea, and of course they took Sandbar shirts along.
This is a nice change from all the tropical photos we've received lately! And since we've had very little snow in Lawrence…we'll have to live vicariously through our customers.
Sandbar friend Mandy took her Sandbar shirt to Jamaica last summer. However, she forgot to take a picture until the very last day. Here it is:

Most people either email their shirt pictures to us or share them on Facebook or Twitter, but we love it when a new picture randomly appears on our bulletin board and surprises us.

You might have noticed that we haven't posted much on the blog lately, and we haven't been very active on our Facebook and Twitter accounts. There's a good reason for our inactivity!
There's a brand-new Sandbar baby in town, and your blogger was a little busy giving birth last week and learning how to handle a newborn baby this week.
Manager Dave is a proud new daddy! Be sure to congratulate him next time you see him. Of course he wore a Sandbar shirt for a hospital photo opp.
Fun fact: no fewer than three nurses in the labor, delivery and postpartum areas at Overland Park Regional Medical Center have been to the Sandbar, and a few have even danced on the bar.
